   NOTICE TO VOTE FOR THE 2010 PHILIPPINE NATIONAL  ELECTIONS

 

WHAT :        Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) for the 2010 National Elections

WHEN:         10 April 2010 up to 10 May 2010

                      Mondays to Fridays from  9 AM to 5 PM and on
                      Saturday and Sunday, 8 and 9 May 2010 (9 AM to 5 PM) and 
                      Monday, 10 May 2010 (9AM to 12 noon) (per article 6 of the COMELEC's
                      Resolution #8750 dated 27 January 2010

WHERE:       Philippine Embassy
                      65 Avenue Louise, 01 floor, 1050 Brussels

                      Except on Saturday and Sunday, 8 and 9 May 2010 at
                      the Philippine Trade and Investment Center located
                      at 207 Avenue Louise, 4th Floor, 1050 Brussels 
                      (on top of ING Bank building)
                      nearest stop is Bailli (trams 94 and 81 and bus 54)

HOW:          For Filipinos in Belgium: PERSONAL VOTING, which means                    
                    all registered Filipino voters will have to go to the Philippine Embassy during  
                    the one-month period to cast their votes. Please bring
                    your COMELEC ID or Philippine passport or Belgian Identity Card.

                    For Filipinos in Luxembourg: POSTAL VOTING, which means they will
                    receive their ballots by post and must mail their completed
                    ballots to the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany.

GUIDELINES ON THE AVAILMENT OF AWARDS AND INCENTIVES FOR OVERSEAS FILIPINO CENTENARIANS UNDER R.A. 10868 AND ITS IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

PUBLIC ADVISORY ON DELAYS IN RELEASE OF PASSPORTS

The Department of Foreign Affairs requests the public's kind understanding on the ongoing delays in the release of passports. These delays are due to technical issues on the part of the company printing the passports.

Those with immediate travel plans are advised to wait until their passports are released before confirming their flights.

Please  be  assured  that  the  Department  is  exerting  all  efforts  to  ensure  the resumption of normal services as soon as possible.
